Brian Johnson, front man for the classic rock and roll band AC/DC. A co-founder of the team four years ago, Brian has partnered with Fifty Plus Racing every year. He is committed to Endure for A Cure with the Highway to Help campaign.
Unfortunately, Brian is unable to drive this year due to his upcoming tour with AC/DC. His contract prohibits him from driving a race car while on tour. His commitment is expressed through giving weight of AC/DC to the Highway to Help campaign.
Taking Brian Johnson's place in the driver's seat will be beloved racer Dorsey Schroeder. A veteran of the Trans-Am series, he has also competed in Grand-AM and American Le Mans events. This will be Schroeder's 41st appearance at The Rolex 24.
"I appreciate this opportunity to do another trip around Daytona," Dorsey said recently. "I have strong memories here. Many 24 hour races, driving the Daytona 500, announcing for so many years. I have to keep in mind the over-all purpose for the ride: To raise money to fight Alzheimer's disease."
